The Board of Directors of POK Group Oy has appointed Esko Ovaskainen as CEO of POK as of 1 April 2024. Esko has extensive management experience in productive growth companies in the construction industry, such as Karelia-Upofloor, JeldWeden and Sepa Oy. Esko has been involved in POK’s growth story since 2014 as a board member.

“Esko’s election to the Group’s management was a natural continuation of the Board’s work. The growth of recent years, the structures that have been put in place and the strong financial position of the company give POK an excellent starting position for growth in the coming years. Esko’s in-depth knowledge of managing and developing manufacturing companies and opening up export markets will provide excellent support for POK’s growth strategy objectives. POK Group Oy has grown to become the leading manufacturer of electricity distribution systems in Finland. The POK Group has manufacturing facilities in several locations in Finland. The Group is based in Kuopio, where the largest production units are located. In 2023, turnover exceeded EUR 45 million and the group employed an average of 330 people in 2023. In the coming years, the Group’s objective is to continue to grow both domestically and internationally.
